Oh the excitement and stress of packing. One moment, I'm jumping up and down freaking out because I'll be in Ireland in 5 days. The next moment I'm screaming at my suitcase and giving it extreme self-confidence issues about its being over weight.
I am pretty much set to leave and itching to do so. I have my passport in my pick-pocket-proof-pouch ( it is NOT a fanny-pack) and my stuffed lion stitched up and ready for the long journey.
After a brief last visit from my boyfriend I will be off to start my big adventure. I'm packed but not prepared for all the wonderful experiences I'm sure to have.

And So It Begins
So the time has finally come for me to travel abroad. My Dad keeps marveling at the fact that I’m going to get to Europe before him, and I cannot help but share in his surprise. I am extremely blessed to have this opportunity, and I am beyond excited.
In approximately 3.5 weeks I will be taking an eight hour plane ride to Dublin, Ireland for a nice week long vacation of Irish Pubs, great music, sightseeing and a lot of green. I will, however, not be returning home after my week is up. Instead I will be taking a short flight over to Vienna, Austria where I will be studying for the entire semester.
From August to December I will be living in the Austrian Alps and breathing in the crisp air of mountains. I will be studying theology in a 13th Century Monastery and soaking in the tradition of our Catholic Church in the heart of Europe. It is the perfect place to grow.

So as of now I am excited, anxious and no wheres near ready! I am packing and preparing, but I figured a first post on my travel blog was a good start.
I’ll be posting pictures and stories of my adventures every week. So please follow me along, and enjoy the ride
